Our philosophy? We aim to treat everyone as a personal guest and to attend to his or her physical and emotional needs in our industry. We believe that spa and beauty professionals can communicate with clients in ways that even a psychologist cannot. By helping our clients make positive changes in their skin, we can and do affect their self-image and self esteem. Within our caring and nurturing environment, clients can experience an array of state of the art spa services. Skincare is designed to be easy to understand and meant to improve our client's overall appearance. We believe in personally treating the skin, educating about the skin and providing a relaxing experience for each and every one of our clients. Each of our highly trained staff members has their own personal touch and signature that will ensure a wonderful experience. We want you to come and experience our very special array of services. We are in the personal service business and our attitude is as important as our skills. When you visit our spa you will enter an upscale, warm and friendly environment. Our caring staff and approach helps to create this environment.
Booking: Book an appointment online Call us to make an appointment - if we do not answer leave a voicemail so we may return your call. Email us to make an appointment - give us the details in your message! Reservations: In order to ensure that you obtain your desired appointments, we recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. *Please notify the spa coordinator of any allergies or sensitivities to aromas or ingredients when you schedule your appointment.
Cancellation Policies and Fees: We at Emily's Skincare & Spa are proud to have you as a client and for the past six years we have not required a credit card to hold an appointment and we have not heavily enforced charging clients when they no-show or cancel last minute. Unfortunately we have had too many no-shows and last minute cancellations recently so we have no choice but to start enforcing these rules. Beginning November 2017 when you book an appointment, we will now be asking for your credit card information to hold the appointment. If you no-show on your appointment we will be charging your card for the full amount of the service missed. If you cancel on the same day as your appointment we will be charging your card for 50% of the cancelled appointment. If you have an appointment scheduled for 10a.m. please make sure to cancel by 5p.m. the day before. If you have a TUESDAY appointment scheduled that needs to be cancelled you MUST cancel no later than 4:45p.m. the Saturday prior to your Tuesday appointment or we will consider your cancellation a "same-day" cancellation. Text messages/voicemails left during non-business hours is not sufficient notice.
*If you arrive late to your appointment and your arrival time effects the duration of your treatment, we will do our best to compensate with the time given. If your arrival time is deemed too late to be seen for a treatment due to our followed treatment protocols, you will be responsible for paying a same day cancellation fee.
Group Bookings: For parties of three or more, please contact our front desk coordinator for group booking policies and availability. Exclusive use of the Spa is available; please inquire for fees and available dates on our 'Services' page. To book and hold your group services you will be required to leave a 50% non-refundable deposit.
Cell Phones: We kindly ask that you turn your cell phones and pagers to vibrate upon arrival and to remember to speak in your very soft "spa voice" once you enter the spa. This is to ensure that other clients who are receiving services such as body treatments or facials are able to experience a relaxing environment without interruption. Please inform your spa professional should you need to make a phone call so that you may do so without disturbing other spa guests. Cell phone use may affect the length of your spa services.
Friends & Family: While we love friends and family sharing experiences with us, we ask that you refrain from bringing various friends and family members during your appointment time if they do not have an appointment with us as well. Many of our clients come to our facility to relax and rest and recoup and we aim to keep our facility a comfortable and peaceful place.
Children: For the safety of our spa facility and clients receiving services, we ask that all babies and young children under 12 years old do not attend your appointment with you. We apologize for this inconvenience, however, due to past experiences we have decided to enact a policy that ensures peace and relaxation for our clients.
Prices and Services: Prices and services are subject to change without notice. We will do our best to keep our clients up to date on any changes that may occur but encourage all clients to inquire about pricing and available services when booking your appointment. We do not have intentions of surprising our clients with pricing they were not prepared for.
Gift Certificate Policy: Gift Certificates are available in any amount and may be purchased at the spa in person or by phone at 770-262-6233 or you may contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Unfortunately, we are unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transactions on gift certificates even if lost, misplaced or stolen. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed as cash. Gift Certificates must be mentioned when making your appointment. All gift certificate sales are final. If you receive a gift certificate at a silent auction that was donated you will not be able to redeem it for cash or products; only services.
Series of Treatments: We are unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transaction on any spa treatment series that are purchased. We will, however, exchange them for other products or spa credit of equal value. It is our goal to ensure that each client is satisfied and we will do what we can to uphold this level of customer service.
Gratuity: Gratuity is not included in the price of services or spa packages. Customary tipping runs 15% to 20% but is, of course, at your discretion. You may tip your spa professional in the room or upon check out at the front desk with cash, check or credit card. With parties of 3 or more a 20% gratuity will be added to the final bill. With special spa packages a 20% gratuity will be added to the package pricing.
Check in: We ask that you please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time should it be your first time with us. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, the length of service may be adjusted so as to not interrupt the scheduled appointments of other guests. Full price of scheduled services will apply, so please plan accordingly. Of course beyond the check in policies we invite all our guests receiving services to make full use of our relaxing environment here at Emily's Skincare & Spa. Come early, stay late, bring a book, relax and enjoy a cup of complimentary tea, coffee, cocoa and sweet snacks available in our relaxation area.
Personal Belongings: Please leave all jewelry and valuable items at home. Emily's Skincare & Spa is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
Spa Promotions: Spa specials cannot be used in combination with any other offer, promotions or third part gift certificates.
Return Policy: In the event you purchase any of our spa products for home use and find them to be defective, we will exchange any products within 14 days of purchase, provided a receipt is presented. Unfortunately we cannot provide cash refunds for returned products. Instead a spa credit will be provided for any returned products to be used on any other products or spa services available here at Emily's Skincare & Spa.
NOTICE: We accept by appointment only bookings for appointment needing to be scheduled before or after normal business hours. While we love walk-in clients and accept them, we cannot always guarantee that walk-in clients will be seen immediately. Please visit our Spa Policy page to read more.
